Traipsing thru the lives of children...

Jan.-May 2013. These days I am working with Prairie Fire Children's Theatre based out of Barrett, MN.  We travel week to week to different towns throughout the Midwest directing and performing alongside the little ones of this nation. Molding the minds of our future generation can be a daunting task but right now we're simply working on not hitting and/or flicking boogers at our neighbors so much...something that most adults could learn from as well, I believe. Check out this rad company that's been igniting the light of theatre arts in children since 1987!

One Shining Moment...Again

Nov-Dec. 2012: I've now foundmyself in the middle of a workshop of the new musical,"Kennedy". The original production enjoyed Drury Lane Theatre's longest run under the title, "One Shining Moment." This rewrite

created by Leslie Bricusse and Allan Jay Friedman will be presented to the  public Dec. 5-8th at the Athenaeum Theatre on Southport in Chicago. To be a part of something so incredibly new and alive is thrilling to say the least. Surely this experience will go down in my files under "U" for Unforgettable.

'Playing a Part' in my own community

As of June 2013, I've jumped on board at Premier Arts, a local community theatre and academy in my hometown of Elkhart, IN. Not only does this allow me to follow my passion of performing, but it also allows me to explore my newfound love of teaching and working with children as the resident acting instructor. This blessing is only increased by the fact that I am able to do all of it in a community that

I care deeply about.
